Las Cruces AGO
The Las Cruces Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, serving southern New Mexico, provides those interested in pipe organs with a chance to improve their knowledge and skills and to exchange information. Activities include regular meetings during the academic year, an annual "Pedals, Pipes and Pizza" for young musicians, and a "Members' Recital".

Sunday, April 26, 2009 3:00pm at University United Methodist, 2000 South Locust Street, Las Cruces.
An Organ Music Celebration will be held, sponsored by the Las Cruces Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. 7 local organists, including Howard Smolleck, Steve Helmreich, Monte Coleman, Peter Young, Hans Fugal and David Jones will play music of Bach, Handel, Suppé, Lang and others. The event celebrates the new 3-manual Allen Digital organ. The program will last about an hour, and there is no admission fee. For more information, call the church office at (575) 522-8220.
